Designer and Developer
Company Overview -
Boasting retro-futuristic swank, a relaxed upscale vibe, and a staggering selection of beer and wine, the always-stylish SideBar has become one of downtown Phoenix’s premier and storied drinking destinations. Perched on the upper floor of the historic brick building that once housed the infamous Emerald Lounge and the original Lost Leaf when it was an underground art gallery, the spot features a swinging ’60s cocktail vibe and décor that was mapped out by renowned designer Judith Testani (before she went on to renown with Olive & Ivy and Fox Restaurant Concepts fame.) A mix of mid-century retro and more modern elements — including the programmable light wall and Paul Christiansen-like ceiling lamps — SideBar’s digs are matched in beauty by the precision cocktails served at the warm yet funky-looking illuminated bar.
